Ning Zhi frowned. She felt that something was off, and she dashed in front of Grandma.
She saw Grandma’s breathing become more labored, and she was clutching her chest like she was having an episode.
Old Mrs. Song reached her hand out to Lu Jue, her face pale. “Medicine. My medicine… Go get it, Xiao Jue.”
Ning Zhi saw Old Mrs. Song having an episode in the blink of an eye.
When she heard Grandma mention her medication, she immediately realized that it was inside the pocket of her jacket.
Ning Zhi quickly ran over to the door and spent a little sun in exchange for one minute of time being able to touch objects physically.
Ning Zhi quickly reached into the pockets of Grandma’s jacket and learned that they were empty. There was nothing in them.

He turned around and saw that Grandma was almost all over the coffee table, looking like she was in distress.

Old Mrs. Song clutched her chest painfully. She could barely talk. “Medicine……
Lu Jue stood up quickly. His lips moved a little, and he was looking at Grandma nervously. He had no idea what to do. “Grandma. Grandma.”
There was a rare panic and fear in his eyes.
As though he had suddenly realized that Grandma was in bad shape, he looked at Old Mrs. Song nervously and forced his voice out of his throat. “Grandma.”
Grandma Song pointed at the rack by the door. “Go get the medicine, Xiao Jue.”
Lu Jue looked in the direction that Grandma was pointing.
Outside, Ning Zhi ran as fast as she could. She needed to locate Lu Shenyuan as soon as possible.
She had just reached the stairs in the hallway and caught up to Lu Shenyuan when she saw him talking to a servant.
Lu Shenyuan looked at the delicate snacks on the tray that the servant was carrying and asked, “Who’s that for?”
The servant replied, “Young Master Shengyuan, this is Madam’s favorite snack.”
An odd light flashed past Lu Shenyuan’s eyes. With a polite smile on his cold and solemn face, he said, “I will bring it over. I’m on my way to the tearoom anyway.”
The servant was surprised.
“It’s fine. I got this.” Lu Shenyuan reached out for the tray that the servant was carrying.
“Thank you, then, Young Master.”
The servant felt that even though First Young Master Lu seemed cold, he was polite and gentlemanly. He always smiled at the servants and never acted like he was above them.
The servant handed the tray over to Lu Shenyuan.
Lu Shenyuan’s lips curved upward slightly. He suddenly felt that something had made its way into his pocket.
Lu Shenyuan was just about to look down to check and see when, the very next second, he felt a strong push and fell forward toward the stairs in front of him.
“Young Master Shenyuan!” The servant didn’t have enough time to reach her hands out. She saw that Lu Shenyuan, who was just standing there a second ago, suddenly lunged toward the stairs as though he was shoved violently.
The servant screamed out loud and was stunned.
The tray in Lu Shenyuan’s hands flew out, and all of the snacks scattered onto the floor. He reached out to the barrister, but he still wasn’t able to stop the momentum. Thus, his body rolled a few times on the stairs.
Ning Zhi didn’t even look at Lu Shenyuan who was rolling down the stairs. With the bottle of medicine in her hand, she started running back.
The second that she went through the door, the medicine bottle in her hand fell onto the ground.
