Chapter 053 - “That’s enough. That’s enough.” (3)

Tan Muxing went to give the teacher a heads up. As much as the teacher had tried to convince her to stay, they finally let her go.

All of the other students were having their physical examination and nobody noticed what was going on in the corner.

Tan Muxing accompanied Chu Qianli back to the classroom.

On their way back, seeing that Chu Qianli was still very much out of it, Tan Muxing pulled out his phone and interrupted her worries. “Do you want to see the clothes that I have made?”

When Chu Qianli saw the beautiful doll on the screen, she exclaimed, “Oh wow. You make clothes for dolls!”

Chu Qianli took his phone over and started flipping through the pictures with interest. She noticed that the dolls all had different clothes on and their styles were both unique and delicate. She didn’t know much about dolls but found them pretty nonetheless.

Chu Qianli grumbled, “Dang. The dolls dress better than me.”

They were certainly dolls that belong to a super wealthy family. Her classmate’s family had been wealthy since his grandfather’s grandfather’s generation.

Tan Muxing, “Well, that……”

Tan Muxing had only seen Chu Qianli in her uniforms and had no idea what to say to her all of a sudden.

The walked alongside the sports field side by side and happened to walk pass the basketball court. Chu Qianli walked on the inner side and Tan Muxing, the outer. They could hear the sounds made by basketballs bouncing off the ground.

A fierce shot at the hoop. The basketball slammed hard against the rim it suddenly flew off at a very unexpected angle.

“Wow wow wow!” Those from the basketball field quickly sounded their warnings toward the two walking next to the field but they weren’t fast enough to beat the ball.

Chu Qianli was looking down at the cellphone and all she heard was a loud BANG! next to her. When she turned her head, she was stunned when she saw a basketball flying into the air.

Tan Muxing had punched away the basketball that was coming at them. The basketball fell heavily onto the ground and let out a loud, dull noise. It spun at a high speed before it launched back high into the air!

Chu Qianli was stunned.

As was everybody else in the basketball court.

After Tan Muxing had smacked away the basketball, he noticed that Chu Qianli had stopped and said to her mildly, “Let’s go.”

Chu Qianli recalled the noise that she had just heard and looked down, still in shock, she said, “Doesn’t your hand hurt? You didn’t smack it with your open palm, did you?”

Chu Qianli could swear that she heard a loud thud. That was not the sound of a palm smacking on a basketball.

Tan Muxing lifted up his fist and said gently, “Oh, I just knocked it slightly.”

Chu Qianli, “……”

Those from the basketball field obviously had the same question. They picked up the basketball that flew off to the side and quickly ran over to check on him. “Are you alright, bro? You just punched it with your fist?”

Tan Muxing, “It was fine. The ball wasn’t that heavy.”

Tan Muxing was still the nice ol’ softy that he always was. Nobody noticed anything out of the ordinary nor did anyone know how fast the ball was going at them.

Some bumping around was only normal on a ball field and nobody thought much about it. The players dispersed quickly.

Except for Chu Qianli. She squatted down right where she was and performed a reading. She learned that her incident that might draw blood was gone!

Seeing her curled up all over again, Tan Muxing said to her, “You can rest when you get back into the classroom.”

Chu Qianli looked up at her classmate and studied his body that resembled that of a polar bear. That could count as a tall building? She thought to herself.

That was a strange case study to added to her experience.

One way or another, Chu Qianli recovered from her debuffed state and came back to life with a full bar of health. She said in a lively manner, “Nah! I don’t need to go back anymore. I’m perfectly fine now!”

Tan Muxing, “?”

Chu Qianli, “The rain had stopped. The sun’s back out. I feel that I am perfectly fine now!”

Tan Muxing, “…… It had been a sunny day all day long.” Why else would they schedule the physical examination for today?
