She felt that Lu Xun, working as much as he did, would be doomed to having a weak kidney so she bought him a case of nourishments for his kidney on his birthday in the hope that he’d spare her of working overtime to show his appreciation.
Lu Xun: … Qian Wei, I feel that you have a lot of misconceptions about me. No need to work overtime tonight. Why don’t you come over to my place?
(That one night replaced several thousands of words. Everything was cleared up without any exchange of words.)
Qian Wei regretted deeply afterward: That was even more tiring than work! Just let me work overtime next time!
