Zhang Kaiyu who had parted unhappily with Zhang Wenyu was in a particularly explosive mood. He did not have a lot of sleep the night before. Between the family meeting and the visit with Zhang Wenyu, all of these combined turned him into a bucket of dynamite that could be ignited by the slightest spark.

Jiang WenYu only found that laughable.

“Isn’t Zhang Bi the one who is tainting the Zhang family’s reputation? As the victim of all this, is it wrong that I asked for an apology? Real brother? I don’t think he thought of me as a brother for even a second there.

“As the clan leader of the Zhang family, you not only not want the culprit punished when they commit a crime, you asked the victim to put up with it. You can’t tell right for wrong and had no sense of justice. If I had to put up with it today for the reputation of the Zhang family, do I have to give up my life for the glory of the Zhang family tomorrow? And just why would I want to do that?”

After being up all night, Su QinMei had dark circles under her eyes. Su QinMei couldn’t catch her breath after hearing those words. There was nothing she hated more than someone belittling her with Su QinYing. She had always had low blood sugar and, with this antagonization, passed out right then and there.

Zhang Kaiyu did not look any better than her. He had silently acknowledged of Su QinMei’s plotting against her own sister. Su QinMei was too cunning and his son was a volatile one. Su QinMei was not as strong and Su QinYing and, they could use that as a leverage against the Su family. As such, he had accepted the death of Su QinYing.

He let out a sigh. Who knew that Su QinYing’s son would have achieved such great achievements? Or that Su QinMei and her son would brought about so much troubles for the Zhang family.

The beating left Zhang Bi black and blue all over and he was in great pain every time he moved.

Albeit being beaten up, Zhang Bi felt relieved. With the beating, that meant that his grandfather truly hadn’t given up on him yet and that he would clean up his mess for him.

His lips curved a little in an attempt to smile but, man, oh, man, that affected the injuries all over him and he bared his teeth – that hurt so much!

This incident brought him not just physical pain, but also psychological torture. He knew now that he could never become the heir. One mistake and it had cost him the entire game.

Su QinMei was not a technical person but, judging from the look on her son alone, she could tell how serious the problem was. She was both worried and angry. “I knew we should never had allowed him to return. I should have him killed sooner. He was a white-eyed wolf after all! What should we do now?”

When she said that, it did not occur to her that she did not posses the ability to stop Zhang Wenyu from returning to the Zhang family. He was the true heir.

She has had what did not belong to her for too long and now she thought they were rightfully hers to begin with. She was enraged when the original owner what was his back. She couldn’t accept that fact and even hated his existence.

Zhang Bi took a deep breath. He walked around the house a few times before he finally sat down in front of his computer.

Zhang Bi was stunned. How could that be possible? Jiang WenYu had fallen ill and put a halt on his research when he sent his thesis out. It would still be a while before Zhang Wenyu could complete his thesis.

So when did he mail that out?

He was overcome with panic and his hands, holding onto the magazine, were trembling. The magazine fell into the floor. He felt not a than when the magazine hit him on his foot. Staring into the hair, his eyes were unfocused and his brain refused to work.

It was all over. He had no idea what had happened but, with Jiang WenYu’s thesis being published, it was all over.

“Bi, what happened?”

Zhang Bi’s mother’s voice brought him back to reality. Recollecting himself, all he could see was his mother Su QinMei’s worried look.

When Zhang Kaiyu was attempting to get down to the bottom of it in a high-profile way, Jiang WenYu had successfully moved out of the Zhang family using this as an excuse. Not only did he move himself out, he even brought with him all of the equipment. They were already given to him so they were his. It only made sense for him to bring them with him.

That was Zhang Kaiyu’s only way to not have this grandson to feel distant from them.

Fang JunRong was surprised at how efficient Jiang WenYu was. Not only did he depart from the Zhang family, he even brought with him all of his equipment.

She studied Jiang WenYu carefully. Was he still that simple researcher of hers?

Jiang WenYu, feeling a bit uneasy under her look, blurted out, “I have been eating properly lately.”

Looking at the video, his thin lips curved up a little. He should thank Zhang Bi for sending him this wonderful opportunity. He still kept those items with the viruses on them.

Jiang WenYu pulled up his makeup bag and started wanted to give himself a sick look. He looked very solemn when he did this, as though he was performing a very important experiment. In order to cover his own tracks, he had spent a lot of time learning how to apply makeup from the internet. He took his task as serious as his studies and, after many failures, finally succeeded.

After he was done with his makeup, he brought with him the USB drive and the box containing the viruses, the latter sealed up in a bag.

This was dinner house and it was time to gross everyone else out.

When Jiang WenYu appeared in front of the dining table, all of the Zhang family members there looked surprise. Jiang WenYu did not normally eat dinner with them. He would only eat what was prepared for him by his nutritionist.

Zhang Bi looked at the half-finished thesis-statement and the feeling of excitement continued to grow in his chest. He wanted to laugh out loud. This had all gone smoother than he had expected.

Even though Zhang WenYu had always emailed himself the thesis-statement from the computer and then deleted it afterward, he was so silly that he did not empty out the recycle bin. Zhang Bi was, therefore, able to retrieve it easily.

The final revision was all that was left to do on the thesis-statement. He would need to stall Zhang WenYu for a little while. That would allow him time to have the thesis statement published before him. It’d be best if Zhang WenYu could be sick for a little while.

Unfortunately, due to Fang JunRong’s Detoxification Pills, it had made it impossible for him to poison Zhang WenYu. Their grandfather, who had all his attention on Zhang WenYu right now, would be very upset if he had gone too far.

With the thesis statement in his hand, there was a regretful look on his handsome face.

He was finally able to see her paid for her actions. As Wang Xiao’s woman, her good days did not last. Wang Xiao always get tired of his woman quickly and wanted to move on to someone new.

The first half of his dream was wonderful. Li ShiZe and Jiang YaGe were like the prince and princess in a fairy tale. After overcoming all sorts of obstacles, they lived happily ever after. They were successful and received the blessing from everyone. Jiang YaGe was a wealth lady that everybody was envious of and was well loved. All of the unharmonious voices that had once been had disappeared.

Li ShiZe frowned. “I will apologist to Mom sincerely once I see her.”

Li XinYun busted out laughing, sounding sarcastic. “Why? What makes you think that your apology is so valuable? We don’t care for that and you can go now.

“And, as a reminder. She is my mother, not yours.”

Jiang DeXian paused for a little, then said, “Yes, that was me who did it.”

He neither denied it nor looked for any excuses. He was open and honest. Looking quietly at Fang JunRong, he seemed to be waiting for some sort of a response from her.

Fang JunRong sighed slightly. Her sigh fell into the air and mixed in with a bit of resort.

Jiang DeXian’s face turned a little pale. Reflexively, his fingers tightened.

“You can give me a heads-up next time before you act. I can provide you with assistance,” said Fang JunRong.

“That being said, you handled it more thoroughly than I would have imagined.”

She could have helped drop a few words with a few media companies.

Jiang DeXian shrugged at Fang JunRong after he hung up the phone. He had a chic leisurely look to him when he did that.

“He didn’t want to have a sex-change operation performed. If you ask me, I think he will still be quite pretty even if he is to become a female.” Li ShiZe’s look combined the best parts of both Fang JunRong and Li WangJin. He could even hold his own if he was to join the entertainment circle.

Fang JunRong’s lips twitched. Some of Jiang DeXian’s actions were eye-opening to her. Of course Li ShiZe would not agree to become a woman. His confidence derived partly from the fact that she was her son and partly from his gender. As much as she had treated both her children the same, but Li WangJin had always saw Li ShiZe as the heir.

Zhang Bi was taken aback a little. He figured something must have upset her today and that it very likely had to do with Zhang Wenyu.

He smiled lightly and said, “I know. I will.”

Fang JunRong continued to wandered around the venue in the afternoon. Then she heard some news – Su QinMei had departed abruptly in the afternoon and she did not look happy when she left. The saffron and the “chicken treasure” that she had brought with her today were no ordinary item and many would like to buy them from her. As such, many looked for her in the afternoon. Su QinMei had turned them all done. In addition, she seemed to have rushed out of the venue as though she was being chased by ghosts.

Any one with half a brain could tell that she was very ambitious when she arrived. As such, many started to speculate why she departed so abruptly.

Was she worried that she would confront her again? She didn’t seem the fragile type. Fang JunRong thought Su QinMei’s skin would be so thick by now that she was practically bullet proof.

Her second step was to butter up to the upper levels of the chamber of commerce. She didn’t care about the ordinary members. As the president did not present today, she placed her attention on the vice presidents. Vice president Chu was close to Feng Zeyu and had been helping her in networking with others all day long today. That made Su QinMei both envious and jealous. If she was to get close to Chu Zuo, he would most likely turned around invest in that tramp that he was so found of.
