Midway through their meeting, the vice team lead stepped out for a call and the remaining judges saw Gu Xi and the others out.

“Congratulations,” said Teacher Yu to the three with a smile after they had stepped out of the office.

She had been following on the development and she must say that what Gu Xi’s father had done was surprising and also very fulfilling.

Teacher Yu’s smile deepened but noticed the baffled look on Gu Xi and the others.

Teacher Yu raised her brows, “Don’t tell me you three had no idea what had happened.”

“No,” said Dong Mingming as she shook her head. “What happened?”

This one week, with the exception of being in class, they had spent all of their time at the library. There weren’t a lot of information that they could obtained at the library at school, so they went over to AU’s library. All in all, they hadn’t been paying much attention to anything else that had been taking place around them.

“It seemed that your parent hadn’t clued you in yet,” said the teacher as she smiled and looked at Gu Xi. Pausing, she said to the three, “The reason that the organizer regraded all the projects so quickly was because NTN Technology Center had already created an actual remote smell and taste machine. It was more than enough to proof the feasibility and workability of your topic.”

Gu Xi’s eyes were widened when she heard Teacher Yu’s words, “You said NTN?!”

“Mmhmm.” Teacher Yu nodded and added, “Per my senior who had attended the unveiling conference, they had specifically pointed out that the design concept of T&S stemmed from your topic.”

“So it was Gu Xi, er, my Dad……?”

The others didn’t notice that Gu Xi had used Gu Shao’s full name. They just assumed that she was too overly excited.

In addition to feeling incredulous, there was also some indescribable excitement.

This was her third time visiting NTN Technology Center.

She saw the same little big sister at the front desk that she had seen the first time.

She spotted Gu Xi before Gu Xi even got close.

“Xiao Xi? Are you here looking for you father?” She asked Gu Xi with a smile.

Apparently, she already knew if Gu Xi’s identity.

Gu Xi felt a bit shy when looking at her.

“Em, Big Sister, I’m sorry……” Gu Xi apologized because she had lied to her in the past.

The receptionist smiled and reassured Gu Xi that it was no big deal.

Many people wondered who Gu Xi’s mother was after learning of her identity.

Luckily, those at the NTN Technology Center were very busy people and did not have much energy to gossip. The gossip died down quickly.

All they needed to know was that Gu Xi was their boss’s precious baby.

“The president is probably in his office right now. Do you want to just head up there yourself? Or would you like me to have Xu Fei come and show you up?” asked the receptionist.

Gu Xi thought about it some and said, “I can head up there myself.”

The front desk nodded. “You can take the dedicated elevator to the 17th floor. Walk this way and through the public area. Take the farthest elevator.”

The receptionist leaned forward to point out the elevator to Gu Xi.

Gu Xi thanked her. She knew which elevator it was. She had taken it the previous time that she was there.

Walking through the lobby, Gu Xi walked past a lot of people and most of them would nod at her with a while after a little bit of a surprised look. Some of the slightly older ones would even talk to her in an elderly tone. “Ah, you are out of school?”

As such, Gu Xi learned that there little Big Sister at the receptionist desk wasn’t the one who knew of her. It would appear that the enter NTN knew of her.
