Chapter 247 - Gu Xi ran over happily toward Gu Shao when she saw him. (3)

Finally, the worker had Accounts Payable wrote out 3x 5,000 yuan check for Gu Xi and the others.
The three had very different looks on them when they received their prize money.

“No……” What she wanted to say was: Perhaps you should consider and pay more attention to this outstanding student with so much potential.
NTN will, through some examinations and competitions, identify students with high potential for observation and nurturing. SL Youth Innovation Competition was one of the competitions that NTN monitored.
That was why Gu Xi hoped that Gu Shao would notice her.
That was the main purpose of her joining this competition.
Gu Shao, however, did not seem to get her hint.
Gu Shao chuckled again and patted Gu Xi on her head. “You will get your reward when we get home. Let’s head out.”
Gu Shao had more work that needed taken care of that afternoon; as such, he had parted ways with Sheng Yi and Father and Mother Dong with Gu Xi.
Looking at the docile Gu Xi following behind Gu Shao, Sheng Yi couldn't help but grumbled to himself, “How was that guy so lucky? He just got such a pretty and cute daughter out of nowhere……”
Having said that, he glanced over at his son who was standing about a meter away from him and suddenly did not feel as happy anymore. Sure enough, a little padded jacket is much cuter.
