Title: The Female Supporting Character Ran Off With The Bun
Translator: Fringe Capybara
Chapter 31 - I would like you to be a female lead in my film, but Song QingFeng won’t allow it. (1)

Tan Ke did a very good job at instigating which had everybody else in class started thinking: She was right, Song QingFeng has always been nice to Chi Ying. Perhaps there was some truth to what Tan Ke was saying.

If Chi Ying was just thinking that she shouldn’t be too showy, then she knew now that being low-key was not always the right answer to everything.

She stood up and stared at Tan Ke angrily. “Everybody know what kind of an director Instructor Song was. You can’t slander him like that.

“Plus, why are you keep spreading untrue rumors about me? Do you find gossiping fun? Can’t you just put your attention back onto yourself for a change?”

Zhao Wan found this encounter exciting. She clenched her fist and her heart was about to pound through her chest.

Tan Ke paused for a second and said, “Who had that time to spread untrue rumors about you? Everything I said is true. If you don’t have a thing with Song QingFeng, why would he only invite you to the banquet and introduce you to all the other directors? We all have eyes and can see things for ourselves. You don’t need to insult our intelligence.”

Song QingFeng had just walked inside the classroom and heard every word that Tan Ke said clearly. He quickly walked up to the podium and slammed down the script in his hand, obviously infuriated.

“I beg your pardon, Miss. Can you please repeat what you said again to me?”

A few gasps could be heard inside the classroom.

Tan Ke hadn’t expected Song QingFeng to show up all of a sudden. He didn’t have any classes this semester and she changed colors a bit.

But, quickly, she thrusted out her chest, lifted her head, and said in a righteous tone, “I was the top student in your acting class and that was just last semester. Chi Ying just transferred in this year. Why was it that you’ve recommended Chi Ying but not me?”

Song QingFeng was never one to be diplomatic. “You are impetuous and arrogant and can’t handle others being better than you. You will never be somebody so I might as well give the resources to someone else.”

Ever since Chi Ying had transferred in, Tan Ke had been compared with her by others all the time.

“The new girl who had transferred in to the performing class seems to be even prettier than Tan Ke.”

“Her body was also better than Tan Ke’s.”

Chi Ying was a thorn on Tan Ke’s side.

Song QingFeng’s words made Tan Ke lost control altogether. Gritting her teeth, she spilled out everything that she had found out.

“What does she have over me? I saw it with my own eyes that she started school full four years before all of us. What would be the reasons a student would delay their graduation for four years? Nothing good, that’s for sure. Song QingFeng, as an instructor, how could you say what you’ve said? I am going to file a complaint with the principal.”

Hearing that, a lot of the other students gasped. They were partly surprised by how Tan Ke had addressed Song QingFeng by his full name, but were even more surprised by the fact that Chi Ying had started school four years before them.

Zhao Wan’s eyes turned red when she heard Tan Ke revealed Chi Ying’s personal life in public the way that she did.

“Speculating on things that you didn’t know and embellishing and escalating them. Do you know that’s call slandering?!” Song QingFeng was so angry that his hair was about to stand up on its ends. “Chi Ying has been #1 up to her junior year and received national scholarships all three years. That was well documented in the Academic Affairs Office and you can look that up online. Come back and talk after you are done with your research!”

This was the first time that Zhao Wan had heard about Chi Ying’s past accomplishments. Her crying turned immediately into laughing. “Wow, this faceslapping came quick.”
