Cheng Huan left the police station the next day. His suit was disheveled and the next button on his shirt was unbuttoned.

Cheng Huan kicked the rocks, large and small ones, on his path as he walked.

The night before, he was scolded thoroughly by the police at the station and had made many promises that he would not be able to keep.

It wasn’t like he had never been to the police station before. But every other time in the past he was able to settle the issue with money and connections.

Except this time.

Not too long ago there had been a major stampede incident in this area so the entire team was mobilized from the top down.

As much as he had board connection, it didn’t help this time.

Cheng Huan went over to Chi Ying’s filming location with a long face. The location was chalked full of fans, especially Qi Yuan’s.

All sorts of banners, posters, and other swags scattered all over the floor.

Cheng Huan felt that the fans were annoying and noisy so he paid the filming location a large sum of money and had all the fans booted out.

The fans, having no idea what had happened, were all enraged.

His eyes were reddened from anger and he was staring straight at the studio.

Everybody in the production team changed colors.

They worried that they would be picked on by Cheng Huan so they all tried to avoid him.

Jiang NingNing frowned and said, “Why’s Cheng Huan here again?”

Chi Ying sighed and said, “He didn’t break the law so the cops couldn’t have him locked up.”

But the last night at this location was over and it was must safer in the day time.

Once they finished filming today, she would be able to go home.

Right when Chi Ying was thinking about that, Cheng Huan called out to her from afar, with anger in his voice, “Hey, YingYing. Do you not see me? I am back.”

Jiang NingNing mumbled frantically, “What do we do?”

Chi Ying patted her on her hand calmly. “It will be fine.”

From afar, Gu YuanChen’s face was darked. His clothes wavering in the wind.

He waved at Chi Ying, gesturing her to stay where she was.

Then he walked over to where Cheng Huan was sitting with his long legs.

At that very moment, a black cloud moved over in the sky and covered the up warm, autumn sun.

The light dimmed and there was a sense of chilliness in the air.

“Young Master Cheng,” said Gu YuanChen in a low voice.

There were neither respect nor humility in his voice. Nor was there any irritation. His voice was leveled and calm. “Please do not disturb our production team and our actress.”

Cheng Huan snickered. His Adam’s apple rolled and his lifted his eyes. “Yours?”

Gu YuanChen’s eyes narrowed but his look didn’t change. His voice was cold. “Yes, if you insist on interrupting my work, I do not mind sending you back to where you were last night.”

There was a sense of interest in Cheng Huan’s eyes.

He stood up. His fist tightened. He said in a sarcastic tone, “The news travel fast. Did Chi Ying tell you? Or you two planned it together from the get go?”

Cheng Huan could feel anger roiling inside of his chest. His eyes reddened.

“Don’t try the same trick again today.

“I’ve booked this entire location today.

“It’s none of your business if I want to stay here and watch her.

“Gu, you are no nice guy either.”

The wind was loud and the two were far away from her.
