Most of the games tend to make fun of the parents. For example, one of them has the parents spin around 10 times on the same spot then have their kids direct them toward a specific animal picture. Some of the parents with lesser balance could barely walk after the spin. Some even fell on flat ground, and everybody would bust out laughing.
All the kids were very entertained from the games and all the parents were made a fool.
Cheng Huan’s hair that she had tidied up before she left the house now resembled a chicken coop and her clothes were covered in dust. She felt completely exhausted and both of her feet were weak.
XingXing, after playing for the entire afternoon, was still very energetic. Having been able to play so many games with his mother made him feel exceptionally happy. After he had walked out of the kindergarten, he already started looking forward to the next family day.
After they got home, Cheng Huan started preparing for dinner. XingXing sat inside the living room and scribbled on a piece of paper with his crayons. He drew for a little bit and put away his crayons and paper before dinner was ready. Then, he pulled out a Rubik’s cube.
Because of XingXing’s grumbling that afternoon, Cheng Huan made a particularly big meal tonight. After dinner, she was going to head out as usual when XingXing made a request.
“Mom, can I go with you today?”
Cheng Huan hesitated for a little bit, but after she saw the hopeful look in XingXing’s eyes, she thought about it for a bit and agreed to it. “Alright, but you tell me when you are sleepy, okay?”
“Okay!”
At the night market, many were already waiting outside of her booth. They were all very surprised when Cheng Huan showed up with a child.
Cheng Huan didn’t try to hide anything and openly said to them, “This is my son.”
Within the crowd, a few young men, who looked like elites, were dumbfounded when they saw XingXing.
Li KangYi learned about Cheng Huan’s BBQ stand from a colleague of his.
They have mentioned how pretty the boss lady was and how the food that she made was particularly delicious.
He was a foodie as well. He wasn’t too interested in the boss lady’s look, but he did want to find out how delicious was this BBQ meat that everyone was raving about. On the one rare day that he didn’t need to work overtime, he couldn’t wait to come and check this place out for himself.
But before he had even seen the scrumptious food, he saw a kid that very much resembled his boss!
Li KangYi was shocked. He closed his eyes and reopened them.
He wasn’t wrong. The kid resembled his boss even more under the lights.
All of a sudden, his head was filled with all sorts of clichés story arcs such as a delicate wife running away, someone walking into the wrong room and onto the wrong bed, etc. etc.
Li KangYi couldn’t shake off all the crazy ideas that had rushed into his head; to a point that he had almost forgotten the purpose of his visit. He just stared intensely at XingXing.
The kid sensed someone looking at him and turned and looked in his direction. Seeing the cute look on the mini version of his boss, Li KangYi couldn't help but shudder.
The kid resembled his boss so much that Li KangYi simply couldn’t convince himself that it was just a coincidence. He fished out his cellphone, found an angle, and took a full frontal shot of the child.
He then opened up a chat app, looked for the alias that says “boss”, and sent the picture over.

Inside the top floor of a landmark building in City C, all the lights were still on.
Jiang MingYuan just finished reading through a document and rubbed his tired eyes a little.
His cellphone, sitting on his desk, buzzed. Jiang MingYuan frowned and looked at it. He thought about it for a second but finally picked it up and unlocked it.
It was a message from one of his assistants – a picture and a line.
