When the Su family was labeled as being anti-government, all of their wealth and properties were confiscated.

Su Yueshen needed to take care of that quickly upon his return.

He was finally able to get his house back by the time everybody had returned to Capital City.

Their family’s old resident was a courtyard house with a garden and it was very spacious.

After it had been confiscated, the government had rented it out and some parts of it were completely beaten up.

He had been very busy in fixing the houses as of late.

The Su family was finally able to move back to their home that they had parted with four years ago.

Father and Mother Su couldn't help but teared up when they saw the familiar scene.

When they had calmed down, Mother Su looked at Su Yueshen and asked, “When are you going to bring Yilan and my grandson back?”

Su Yueshen said, “I’ll bring Xiao Jiu back shortly.”

Father and Mother Su noticed that something was off right away.

“What about Yilan? Are you not bringing her back?”

Su Yueshen adjusted his spectacles and said nonchalantly, “I’ll bring in back after a while.”

Father and Mother Su exchanged a look with each other.

Mother Su frowned and said, “Are you not going to re-marry Yilan, Yushen? That would be very wrong of you!”

Yilan was the one taking care of the child when all of them had been sentenced to the ranch. Had anything happened to them, Xiao Jiu would be the only descendant of the Su family.

Many wives would ask for a divorce when their husbands’ families were labelled as anti-government. Yilan had wanted to go with them to the ranch instead of getting a divorce back then.

They had to give it all their might to talk her out of it and the Gu family have had others looked after their family stealthily over the years.

As such, even though the Gu family were a bunch of pushovers and did not handle Xiao Jiu’s incident well at all, the Su family, however, still need to keep in mind what the Gu family had done for them and be grateful of that!

Father Su did not say anything. He knew his son very well. He knew that Su Yueshen was the type who thought very far ahead when he made any decision.

He would remarry her for sure. But for certain he would need to fix the Gu family’s warp way of looking at things before that.

The three noobs in relationship got together again.

Their girlfriends had never visited them at the base before!

Huang Qimin lifted his brows, “There’s such a saying? No wonder I’ve always smelled this fragrance whenever I was around my girlfriend. I’ve asked her in the past if she was wearing perfume and she always said no. Here I thought she was lying to me.”

“She also said that I smell like fresh grass.” Huang Qimin could not have looked more complacent as he said that. Then, turning toward Zhou Yan, he asked, “Poophead Zhou, what does your girlfriend say you smell like?”

Zhou Yan did not look too happy.

His girlfriend said told him a few times that he smelled like sweat and feet.

Bad odor is also a form of attraction, right?
