Lei Fengzhi was so angry that her face turned red. “Bull crap! This is all bull crap! Everybody at the Production Team saw Jiang Danhung pregnant with these two kids. Go ahead, make the call. Let’s see what they would say!”

Tong Xuelu sighed. “Teacher Jiang did get pregnant twice but they were stillbirths. We have no idea where you found these two kids and forced Teacher Jiang to accept that they are hers.”

Lei Fengzhi’s mouth was wide open and she was so angry that she almost vomited blood. The only words that she could manage was bull crap.

Tong Xuelu, “I’ve also heard from Teacher Jiang that you were the one who delivered her babies at the time. You didn’t even get her a midwife. Now I wonder if her children were really stillbirths or did something else happened.”

Everybody gasped and looked at Lei Fengzhi with their eyes widened.

Lei Fengzhi almost dropped dead right then and there from anger. “We didn’t get a mid-wife because I know how to do the job of one!”

Tong Xuelu shrugged. “That’s a lot of coincidence. It so happened that you know how to do the job of a mid-wife and the two children happened to not look like Teacher Jiang.”

Lei Fengzhi, staring at Tong Xuelu, was speechless.

Most everyone had already believed in Tong Xuelu.

Lin Jinbao did not stop there. “Grandma, is Widow Wang our mother? I’ve seen Dd coming out of her house a few times.”

Her words were dropping water into a pot of hot oil. Everything fizzled.

Someone said to her, “Teacher Jiang, you are too much of a softie.”

Jiang Danhung shook her head and insisted on not filing a police report.

Tong Xuelu finally walked over to her after the crowd had dispersed. “I’m sorry, Big Sister Danhung. I didn’t check with you first before I said those things.”

Jiang Danhung gave her an appreciative look. “Don’t say that. I should be the one thanking you.”

Had it not been Tong Xuelu and Lei Fengzhi kept up with her acts, it was just a matter of time before Jiang Danhung decide to take her out with all she got.
