The Green Tea’s Crushing Victories - Ch 476

Chapter 476 - "Commander, I don't think we can hide the fact that we are creepers any longer!" (2)

Tong Xuelu was very surprised. “What are you doing here?”

Wen Rugui’s ears were red. “Do you have time to go somewhere with me right now?”

Tong Xuelu, “Did something happen?”

Wen Rugui nodded, “Yes.”

Seeing the serious look on Wen Rugui, Tong Xuelu couldn’t help but thought about Tong Zhenzhen.

She quickly let the others know before she left with Wen Rugui on his bicycle.

Wen Rugui paddled hard the two quickly disappeared from the others’ sight.

Tong Xuelu noticed that he was not heading toward the military compound. “Where are you taking me?”

Wen Rugui licked his lips and said, “You will see.”

Tong Xuelu blinked her eyes when she heard that, and she grew more worrisome.

This was the direction to the hospital. Did some happen to Old Mr. Wen?

Tong Xuelu had a bad feeling. Low and behold Wen Rugui did not take her to the hospital, but to the park where they went on their first date.

Tong Xuelu was surprised once again. “Why are were here?”

Truth was, as soon as they walked inside the garden, she already had a feeling that her initial thought was incorrect and, at the same time, had a different guess.

Wen Rugui pulled out a piece of cloth from his pocket and said, “I need to blindfold you. Is that okay?”

Tong Xuelu didn’t know what to say to that. “You already brought the piece of cloth with you. Can I say no?”

Having said that, she closed her eyes. She knew by now what Wen Rugui had in mind. She was, however, curious about what he had prepared.

Wen Rugui gently blindfolded her, took a deep breath, and grabbed her hand to guide her in the direction of the bamboo forest.

There was a bamboo forest on the west end of the park. The bamboos were thick and there was a kiosk in the middle of it. It rarely have any visitors.

After bringing her to the kiosk, he released the blindfold and said to her, “Okay, you can open your eyes now.”

Tong Xuelu’s eyelashes fluttered before she opened her eyes. She then covered up her mouth reflexively. “Where did you get all these flowers from?”

She saw the kiosk covered in camellia. There were white ones, pink ones, bright red ones, and also some that were red and white. There were layers and layers of petals. The flowers were bright and colorful and, for a second there, she thought she had entered into a flower realm.

Wen Rugui pulled out a box from his pocket, opened it up, and knelt down on one knee. “I’m not an articulate person but I want to tell you that no matter how much time have passed, I will always treasure you.”

Tong Xuelu looked at the box that he was holding in his hand. In addition to a gold ring, there was also a Tourbillon watch. It was a matching style as the one that he was wearing, except that it was smaller.

She looked up.

And finally she saw Wen Rugui’s face that was so red that he could bleed from it.

Tong Xuelu had never felt such sweetness in her life.

This man was so good looking. He was exactly her type.

Looking at him made her want to kiss him. Kiss him so much that his lips would be swollen. Kiss him so much that he wouldn’t even be able to breathe.

His proposal was not romantic by modern day’s standard. And his sweet talking was very simple. But they all made her heart throbbed.

Wen Rugui’s heart pounded, and he was so nervous that both the front and back of his hands were sweaty.

Right when he thought he was about to suffocate from tachycardia, Tong Xuelu finally reached her hand out and said in a very matter-of-fact way, “Well, what are you still waiting for? Put it on me already!”

Wen Rugui paused for a little and he felt a big firework had exploded inside of him.

He stood up nervously and had to try a few times before he was able to pull the watch and the ring from the box and carefully put them on Tong Xuelu.

The watch was perfect and made her wrist look very white.

The ring, however, was a little big.

Wen Rugui, too, noticed that. “This was the ring that was given to my great grandmother by my great grandfather. It had then passed down to my grandmother and now grandpa said to pass down to you.”

Oh boy, this was a family heirloom.

Looking at the jade on the ring, Tong Xuelu thought about how expensive this ring was.

A breeze came and there were ripples on the surface of the lake and the fragrance of camellia filled the kiosk.

Tong Xuelu finally found this moment romantic.
