The Green Tea’s Crushing Victories - Ch 490

Chapter 490 - Tong Zhenzhen and Gu Yilan (1)

Inside the room, Tong Xuelu and Wen Rugui tumbled around for three more rounds before Wen Rugui fell back asleep.

Tong Xuelu exited the room with her lips red and was relieved to find that there was nobody in the yard.

She turned and went over to the Wei’s. Little did she know that Old Mr. Wen and Uncle Zong had already taken off. She wasn’t sure if she was just imagining it but she felt that the way her grandpa was looking at her was odd. He seemed to be unable to look her in her eyes.

She thought about it some but gave it when she couldn’t figure out what was going on.

Wen Rugui finally woke up an hour later. The first thing that he noticed after he had woken up was that his lips were swollen and split open. His clothes disheveled. He looked into the mirror and saw what looked like a rash on his neck.

They looked a lot like what Huang Qimin had on his neck before. He, too, had wondered about it at the time.

Was he allergic to alcohol? Was that why? But would his lips had swollen so from allergy to alcohol?

Tong Xuelu walked inside while he was perplexed.

The way Wen Rugui looked right now made Tong Xuelu want to laugh. He looked a lot like a weak man who was taken advantage of when he was drunk.

Wen Rugui rubbed his temples and said, “I’m so sorry to have caused you troubles from being drunk.”

Tong Xuelu handed over the mug that she was holding over to him. “Do you know that you don’t hold alcohol well?”

Wen Rugui took it and took a sip out of it. The water was of the perfect temperature.

His eyes looked tender. “I know. I’ve drank before and I was knocked out from just one cup.”

Tong Xuelu raised her brows. “You get drunk from one cup and you dare to drink for e? Do you know what you have done to me after you were drunk?”

Wen Rugui’s heart dropped and he looked at Tong Xuelu’s lips. He noticed that they, too, were swollen. “I… I didn’t turn into a hooligan when I was drunk, did I?”

Tong Xuelu nodded very seriously. “And that was not the end of it. You turned very wild when you were drunk and you even pinned me down……”

BOOM!

Wen Rugui heard what sounded like a thunder roared in the back of his head!

Wen Rugui turned pale instantly. “I… I’m so sorry. I didn’t know that I’d turn into a hooligan when I am drunk. I……”

Tong Xuelu said with a long face. “I will let it slide this time. Luckily we are already engaged. But you better not drink outside of your house. If you get drunk and turn into a hooligan around some other female comrade, that might ruin your life!”

Wen Rugui nodded eagerly. “Don’t you worry. I never drink outside of my house.”

When the missile launched successfully or when they celebrated the success of their other experiments, there had always been alcohol involved. But he never drank a drop.

Tong Xuelu nodded in content. “Good. I’ll forgive you for being wild this time. I’ve made some snacks for Grandpa Wen. Don’t forget to bring them with when you leave.”

Wen Rugui’s ears were red. “I’m sorry. I won’t ever drink again.”

Won’t drink again?

How else will she be able to meet domineering CEO Wen again?

She can’t let that happen.

Tong Xuelu cleared her throat and said, “Don’t feel so bad about it. It’s alright for a man to be wild from time to time.”

Wen Rugui, “? ? ?”

Whatever did she mean by that?

So did she want him to be wild or not?

Wen Rugui had a perplexed look on him when he walked out of the room and ran into Commander Xiao. Commander Xiao looked at him like two cold swords out of their sheaths.

If one could kill with one’s eyes, Wen Rugui would have died a million times by now.

The next day, witnessed by the other Xiao’s family members, Tong Jiaming and Tong Mianmian changed their surnames. They would go by Xiao Jiaming and Xiao Mianmian going forward.

All four sibling’s family registries had be moved under Commander Xiao. From this point forward, they were no longer orphans that could be bullied by just about anyone.

Tong Xuelu was happy that she didn’t have to change her name. This was also her name before she had transmigrated and she’d prefer not have to change it.
