After Yan Yongan’s sentencing had been finalized, Tong Zhenzhen was released.

She was resilient like a cockroach.

Fang Jingyuan stuck her lips out and said, “She had been fired from the Women’s Federation and had been staying home with nothing to do. Everybody at home had been brown nosing her when she was labeled as the live Lei Feng and now they only wish to kick her out of the house.”

Tong Xuelu raised her brows, “Kick her out? No way.”

Fang Jingyuan nodded, “I heard that it was because she was previously engaged to Yan Yongan. The Tong’s worried that she would bring them trouble and wanted to send her to be an educated youth in the village. Tong Zhenzhen do not wish to go so they had been fighting day in and day out.

“I didn’t understand why you had stopped contacting the Tong’s in the past but I think I get it now. Now I see that was a wise decision on your part. The family are only nice to you when you are of use to them and would abandon you the minutes you’ve lost your usefulness. That’s so disgusting!”

Tong Xuelu tightened her lips and did not comment on that. She was trying to come up with a plan to take care of Tong Zhenzhen once and for all.

If she could have her ways, she’d like to have Tong Zhenzhen send to a ranch far away for reforming.

As the two chatted, a steamer full of steamy soup dumplings were ready.

The soup dumplings were white like jade and filled with soup. Their wraps were thin and soft. Just one bite and one’s mouth will be filled with all its juice. The different levels of texture were indescribable.

Fang Jingyuan had two steamers full of soup dumplings before she took off.

Inside the base, all three romance newbies were in good mood today.

Zhou Yan asked curiously, “You have some good news to share?”

Huang Qimin smiled so much that crow’s feet could be seen. “I am going to be a father! I got a call from my family today that my wife is pregnant!”

Both Wen Rugui and Zhou Yan were shocked.

“Congratulation, but I am going to be a father soon as well.” Zhou Yan sounded jealous. And he also didn’t forget to take a stab at Wen Rugui. “Poor Rugui, he can’t even get married for another two year.”

Wen Rugui, “……”

Looking at the defeated look on Wen Rugui, Zhou Yan and Huang Qimin felt as amazing as having a slice of cold watermelon on a very hot day.

Tong Xuelu learned of a shocking news from Fang Jingyuan two days later.
