The exhibition was still ongoing when the value of Ink Painting Guru’s work on the market had skyrocketed.

Even a small work on her would go for over a million yuan and that didn’t mean there would be any available either. Collectors had nowhere to turn to for one.

There were many paintings at the exhibition that the collectors would do anything to add them to their collections but there were either privately-owned or the artists private work that was not for sale.

Huo Xiao Bao even struggled a little when he was transferred over to Old Mrs. Chen.

The old lady was finally able to distract him and made him completely forgot about his dad by shoving a piece of warm jade pendant into his hand and putting the chain around his neck.

Huo Sishen rubbed his little head before he reached his hand out to hold Gu Shishi’s hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

“We will leave when you are tired.”

They didn’t care about anyone else. It would be just the three of them at home.

Half way through the event, many of the reporters who were invited there started conducting interviews within the exhibition hall.

Even though they were slightly disappointed that Gu Shishi would not participate in any of the interviews but being able to interview the others from the Art Association and even Mayor Liu was still plenty.

Old Mrs. Chen and Chen Kexin, on the other hand, had Gu Shishi as their guide the entire time. They were able to appreciate the paintings while expanding their knowledge in ink painting.
