With some money in hand, Yan Shuyu no longer felt panicky. She still had to work on the regular workdays but she refused to work overtime and insisted on having her weekends off. At most she would go to her part time gig for an hour at night on Saturdays and Sundays at Sunshine House.

The boss was the boss after all. His flattery skill could easily put Secretary Lu to shame. Yan Shuyu felt delightful immediately and rested her head happily on the boss’s shoulder and asked pridefully, “I didn’t embarrass you, did I?”

As much as the boss was flattering her, she still needed to ask what she wanted to ask.

When Robin came rushing over to pick up the document, he saw his boss’s girlfriend resting her head on his shoulder, her arm around his, playing some mobile game on her cellphone. On a corner of the boss’s desk that was covered in paperwork was a glass of orange juice that was almost empty. That had clearly demonstrated how comfortable Miss Yan was in his boss’s office and possibly even more comfortable than Boss Zhou himself.

“How would they be able to see a picture of yours?” Secretary Lu went on to explain, “I described you to them as someone just over 20 years old, prettier than an actress, and would make your eyes beam when you see her. Looks like they did their job well.”

Yan Shuyu nodded reflexively. Secretary Lu was basically saying that her beauty was unrivaled. She was only too happy with that description and forgot what else she wanted to ask but just followed happily behind Secretary Lu all the way into the boss’s office.
