“Will he be able to walk in the future?” Ning Zhi asked the doctor.

Spoiled by her family, surrounded by friends. With the exception of Lu Jue, she could have anything that she ever wanted. That was the first time she was chastised and it was with all sorts of bad adjectives.

“That has nothing to do with you.” She stared at Ning Zhi angrily.

Ning Zhi curved her lips. “Oh? Nothing to do with me, huh? Who was it that begged me to help her, tear-strained and all? It looks like people are not appreciative of what others had done for them anymore.”

Huo Xiaoyue’s face turned red right away and she said in a low voice. “That wasn’t what I meant. My family will thank you after my brother had woken up.”

Ning Zhi smiled, turned, and planned to leave with Lu Jue.

“Aye. Are you taking off just like that?” She quickly called out to Ning Zhi when she saw that Ning Zhi was about to leave.
