“I had always found Little Song Song very familiar since the very first time I saw him,” said Mother Lu. “I thought about it long and hard that night and finally connected him to my cousin.”

Her cousin worked in the south and spent most of his time there. After Little Song Song was born, even though Mother Lu didn’t see this cousin a lot, she was still pained by him losing his child. Father Lu had also sent many men to help him look for his lost child.

After the child had been gone for a while, her cousin’s wife, Yiyi, started to not be right in her head. She became depressed. Mother Lu’s cousin accompanied her to travel around, hoping to ease their pain and also look for their child during their trips.

Mother Lu wasn’t sure whether Little Song Song was her cousin’s lost child, so they did not want to get Yiyi’s hopes up high, worried that it could make her condition worse. Mother Lu had only informed Song Yuan.

Thankfully, Little Song Song turned out to be his child.

Ning Zhi suddenly realized why Little Song Song had such an attraction toward Lu Jue. Aside from having similar conditions, the two of them were related by blood.

Sitting in between his parents, Little Song Song asked, looking pure and cute, “Big Brother Lu Jue?”

Ning Zhi’s lips curved upward, and there was happiness in her black eyes.

Little Song Song was able to find his parents, who loved him dearly. This was so nice.

“Big Brother Lu Jue is at work. He needs to make money,” said Ning Zhi to him with a smile.

Little Song Song blinked. Her voice somehow sounded familiar.

Ning Zhi pulled out a candy with lots of oranges printed on its wrapper. Opening up her palm, the candy was lying right there, ready to be taken away by him. “Would you like a piece of candy, Little Song Song?”

Little Song Song looked at the piece of candy with his dark, round eyes.

Xu Yiyi smiled at her and said, “He does not like candies.”

Xu Yiyi’s depression was almost all gone ever since they had found her son. She had spent a lot of time bonding with her child in the past year.

After a long while, when Ning Zhi was about to pull her hand back, Little Song Song suddenly nodded and said slowly, “Yes, I want.”

Xu Yiyi looked at her son in surprise. When she noticed that he was staring at the piece of candy in Ning Zhi’s hand, she smiled in surprise. “It looks like this child not only likes Lu Jue. He likes Xiao Zhi too.”

Ning Zhi smiled and placed the piece of candy in Little Song Song’s hand. She didn’t necessarily think that Little Song Song liked her, but more that he remembered seeing this kind of candy in the past.

Little Song Song unwrapped the piece of candy clumsily, but soon enough, the orange translucent candy appeared in his hand. He then put it inside his mouth.

It was sweet and had the flavor of orange.

This had the same taste as the very first piece of candy that he had.

As Little Song Song always had Lu Jue on his mind, Song Yuan figured he could bring his child with him and spend a few days in City B, since he had some matters to take care of here.

Song Yuan and Xu Yiyi would leave their child with the Lu’s and pick him up in a couple of days.

Ning Zhi stayed with Little Song Song. She noticed that even though Little Song Song still didn’t talk a lot, he was now curious about his surroundings and would look around and study the environment around him.

When looking outside the car window, he would make little noises and even ask questions.
