Ning Zhi pulled off the ribbon that was secured behind her head and let it drop.
She saw lights in front of her and that she was surrounded by a lot of glamorous, blood red roses.
Lu Jue, in his red clothing, stood in the middle of the flowers, looking even more eye catching than the flowers.
Ning Zhi saw him walking over to her with a little gold crown adorned by many rubies. In front of them was an old castle.
Standing in front of her, Lu Jue placed the crown over her head. “This is my gift to Zhizhi. Do you like it?”
He had given a castle to the little princess and he would keep her safe from now on.
“These are the flowers that you grew?”
Lu Jue nodded. He was a little surprised how Zhizhi knew that.
Ning Zhi lowered her head and looked at Lu Jue’s hands. Sure enough, there were lots of small wounds on his hands, all of them from the thorns on the roses.
Ning Zhi’s heart quivered and her eyes were full of smile. “I like it a lot.”
Lu Jue pulled out a small box and inside of it laid a beautiful ring. “Will Princess Zhizhi put this on?”
Lu Jue’s lips were pinched shut slightly and his bangs draped docilely over his forehead, covering up the nervousness between his brows.
Under the sun, Ning Zhi could see the reflection of herself from Lu Jue’s eyes. The Ning Zhi in his eyes nodded.
The very next second, a hundred little suns popped into the indicator over Lu Jue’s head. They were as bright as the sun in the sky.
More and more little suns appeared and the brightness continued to grow.
Ning Zhi’s eyes curved. She knows exactly how happy Lu Jue was right now.
It didn’t have to be the little prince and little princess living in the castle. It could also be the little princess and the greedy little wolf pup.
Lu Jue knelt down for real.
She wasn’t certain if he was too excited, but Lu Jue could hear a loud BAM noise when his knee made contact with the ground.
It sounded painful just from listening to the sound. Nevertheless, Lu Jue was still looking at her the same way that he did as if he couldn’t feel any pain. He looked at her and only at her with his pretty cherry-blossom eyes.
He lifted the ring that he was holding in his hand and wanted to put it on her.
Ning Zhi reached her hand out. She had been pampering her hands and they were fair and fine. The tips of her fingers were a light pinkish color. They looked like fine jade under the sun.
Lu Jue was just about put the ring on her when the girl curled her fingers.
Lu Jue looked up in shock. “Zhizhi?”
Ning Zhi looked down. Her eyes filled with smile. “I just became single again and I am still enjoying being single for the time being.”
Lu Jue was taken aback a little. Unreconciled feelings filled his pitch-black eyes, as though he was about to be abandoned by Ning Zhi the next second. “Does Zhizhi not want to marry me?”
He knew that he had rushed things but, he had a feeling that he needed to hurry up and marry her. It was like she was meant to be his wife.
She was his.
Ning Zhi reached her hand out and brushed Lu Jue’s slightly messy bangs in front of his forehead. Her eyes curved. “You will dote on me from now on?”
Lu Jue nodded.
“And always let me bully you?”
Lu Jue nodded again.
“You will always listen to me?”
Lu Jue’s thin lips curved upward. “I will always listen to Zhizhi.”
Ning Zhi’s eyes were filled with shiny little stars. “Then you will let me bed you.”
Under the sun, Lu Jue’s cold and fair face and even the tips of his ears turned red instantly. His long and straight eyelashes quivered and most little suns popped out. They were so bright that one could barely keep one’s eyes open.
Holding Ning Zhi’s hand, he put the ring on her. He looked at her with his pitch-black eyes and said slowly, “Let Zhizhi bed me.”
He lowered his head and planted a deep kiss on the back of Ning Zhi’s hand.
The little beast bounced up and down madly inside his chest, screaming in joy.
