Someone was up all night and someone else had a good night’s rest.
The next day, right when Su Han was about to pick up his backpack and head to school, he noticed Su Ran, who’d normally still be sleeping, was already up. He was very surprised.
“How are you up so early today?” asked Su Han as he gave Su Ran a curious look.
“To take you to school!” said Su Ran relaxingly while biting down on a steamed bun that was already half eaten.
Sure enough, steamed buns tasted the best right out of the pot.
Normally Su Han would prepare breakfast and save breakfast for Su Ran before he headed out to school.
Except that, by the time Su Ran was up, the eggs were already cold and the steam buns starting to harden.
“You--!” Su Han’s eyes widened when he heard Su Ran.
What was that woman talking about?!

Su Han frowned. Something about that didn’t feel right.
“I’m not kidding. Look, a lot of your classmates’ parents drop them off and pick them up from school. I felt that I should be a better mother as well,” said Su Ran while resting her chin on her palm as she pretended to not have noticed the surprised and slightly unpleasant look on Su Han.
Came to think about it, her son was so easy. Not only did she not want to worry about any school matters, he would also take care of chores at home.
Even though majority of the “chores” at home now was to throw out the take out boxes.
“It’s laright…” Su Han, ignoring the inexplicable sense of slight disappointment in his heart, lifted his head and said coolly, “I’m not a child anymore.”
“But I want to take you to school. So what should we do? Besides, didn’t you come pick me up yesterday? I’ve decided. I am going to take you to school today to repay you!” Noticing the uneasiness in Su Han’s eyes, Su Ran tried her best to maintain her straight face instead of laughing out loud.
