Su Han’s heart tightened when he heard that. He didn’t like the sound of that much.

Su Han stiffened in his stance with his head lowered all the way. Right when Su Ran felt that her son was trying to refuse to talk to her with his action, she finally detected an almost unnoticeable nod.

“Well, join them if you want to,” said Su Han suddenly. Then, after a slight pause, he added, “The outcome doesn’t matter. I promise I won’t make fun of you.”

“Did you run into other problems?” The young man frowned and looked at Su Ran. There was resentment on his face but they failed to conceal his care and worries.

“Hmm?” Su Ran looked up and saw Su Han glaring at her solemnly while leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed.
