My Son Might be a Villain - Ch 260
“You… good luck in your competition.” Su Han looked up at Su Ran and said to her seriously before she could say anything else.
“Mmm, I will.” Su Ran nodded, then said, “I can’t take you with today. You should stay in your hotel room and read some or do some of your homework.”
“Or go hang out with your dad. You can ask him to take you to places if you have somewhere specific in mind if he has some free time. But don’t bother him if he’s busy. Be a good boy and stay in and do your homework assignments, okay?” added Su Ran after some considerations.
Even though, after her observation from the last two days, Lu Shao seemed to have quite a bit of free time. Nevertheless, he did mention that he came to City N for business reasons. Su Ran wouldn’t want Su Han to bother Lu Shao too much.

Truth was, Su Han was fishing for attention.
Because of the question earlier, Su Ran did not want to answer any more of Su Han’s random questions. Nevertheless, less than a minute later, Su Han asked again, “What time is your competition?”
“They said it starts at 10 but, judging from the two past rounds, it will probably run a little late,” said Su Ran as she finished up with her makeup.
“When are you taking off then?”
“Emmm. Soon. We will take off when Aunty Li Yan returns.”
“Are you nervous?”
“No, I am not nervous.”
“I feel that you are nervous.”

Inside the hotel room, Su Ran looked up from the book that he was reading, looked straight at Lu Shao after he returned and asked, “What did you tell my mother?”
Lu Shao wasn’t surprised that his own son could be so sharp.
“Your mom had me keep an eye out on you,” said Lu Shao. Then, glancing over at the book in Su Han’s hand, he added, “And asked whether you have been studying hard on your economics.”
“No way she had said that!” rebutted Su Han as he glared at Lu Shao.
That being said, he didn’t sound too overly confident in this statement.
Even now, he was still baffled as to where his mother’s stubbornness over economics stemmed from.
Looking at the confusion on Su Han, the corners of Lu Shao’s lips curved upward. He quickly returned to his usual self.

“Yes, I know him.” Was all Lu Shao said nonchalantly after a short moment of silence.
Know? Was it the same way he knew of the original owner, Miss Su in the past?
Thought Su Ran when she heard that Lu Shao’s tone did not change at all from before when he said that.
Her initial thought to find out whether Lu Shao had to do with the plot of the original novel. And that was her assumption after hearing Lu Shao’s response. She failed to notice the nervousness that flashed past the deepest part of Lu Shao’s eyes.
Besides, if he merely know of the second male lead then Lu Shao’s clan must not have much to do with the secretive family behind the second male lead that was mentioned in the novel.
Su Ran nodded as she came to her own conclusion.
