Chapter 12 - “What’s the name of my fairy-like arranged date from yesterday again?” (5)
“?” The woman stiffened and looked up.
The gold chain from his spectacles shook slightly. The man’s smile was still the same as before. Lowering his head slightly, he gave her a tender but cold look.
“I am germophobic. Dirt bothers me.”
“……” The woman’s face changed colors all of a sudden.
“Besides.” The man looked down and over the soft bosoms that was resting on the outer edge of his arm. Then, looked up coldly, he said, “I have no desires toward women.”
“!”
With an angry “Go to h*ll, you d*mn homos*xual” from the strange woman, her effort was proven a complete flop.
Qiao Xi, who had witnessed the second half of the event, came back with his bottle of Louis XIII from the bar and poured it into their wine glasses. “What a shame and you have also ruined my reputation.”
Luo Xiu scanned over it coldly. “Did you go all the way to France to retrieve your bottle of wine?”
Qiao Xi busted out laughing. “Here I thought you were not annoyed at all. What’s the matter? Was it your extreme germaphobia? It’s your own fault to be so pretty that the woman wanted to chat you up. Don’t blame it on me for going to get the wine.”
“……”
“But I did run into something interesting when I walked past the tables over there and that slowed me down.”
Qiao Xi knew not to expect Luo Xiu to get curious about it so he smiled and pointed behind him as he poured the wine into the glasses before he received a response.
“There were a few women messing with a man and a woman over there just now. They said that the girl was seducing someone’s boyfriend. When the girl was singled out, her friend came and brought with her three other men. Look, they’re right over there.”
Luo Xiu casually looked up and over at the directly where Qiao Xi was pointing at.
The light was dim in the bar and, even though the table was not that far from the booth, they were only able to make out a silhouette.
Qiao Xi laughed. “I saw it on my way back. The girl who just arrived was quite impressive – rivet outfit, Gothic metal makeup, motorcycle shoes, and her long and straight hair pulled into a pony tail high up on her head – she was smart and cool looking. All the men over in that area could barely take their eyes off of her.”
Luo Xiu looked back uncaringly.
The sound from the table could be heard when the DJ was in between music –
“She still stole my boyfriend. So what if she didn’t know about it? She needs to… to compensate me!”
“Exactly…. Don’t think that we will be intimidated by you just because you have brought with you three other men!”
“Yeah! We demand to be compensated.”
After a couple voices that obviously lacked confident came a girl’s cold voice.
“Stole your boyfriend?” She sneered and her words were sharp. “That piece of sh*t is still yours. You know how to recycle or do I need to show you how?”
“But… but she chatted all night long with my boyfriend. She can’t just pretend that didn’t happen!”
“Sure, we’ll compensate you for that.”
The girl in the rivet clothing rotated her body some so the three men standing behind her could be seen.
“This three here – my ex-boyfriend, ex-ex-boyfriend, and ex-ex-ex-boyfriend. Which one would you like to chat with and for how long? Your call.”
“You!” After she was made speechless, the most infamous words came out of her. “Just you wait!”
After some chaotic footsteps, the drama was finally over.
Qiao Xi took a sip of the wine and looked back over. Chuckling, he put down his glass. “She bought with her three ex-boyfriends to help out her friend. Quite the opposite of you. That is quite a heroine and a player. Mighty, eh?”
Luo Xiu remained silent.
And that very second, the “victim” who had been choking back her tears threw herself from the bar at the cool girl in her rivet clothes. “Woo woo woo woo, Gu Nian! You are my savior! I love you!!”
“……”
Luo Xiu paused inside the booth.
Qiao Xi’s hand with the glass also stiffened.
A few seconds later.
Qiao Xi, “Gu what?”
Lifting his eyes, Luo Xiu said nonchalantly, “Nian.”
Qiao Xi, “What’s the name of my little fairy arranged date from yesterday?”
Luo Xiu looked back over at the direction of the table.
The area had returned to its normal bustling and those that were in question were already gone.
Luo Xiu looked back and chuckled. Lifting his slender fingers casually, he downed the wine in his glass –
“Gu Nian.”
