After Jiang Xiaoqing was done messing around, Gu Nian turned around and noticed that Qin Yuanyuan was still blanking out by the window. She asked jokingly, “Are you waiting for the 20 men in black too?”

Qin Yuanyuan recollected herself and smiled. “No, but I did expect something to happen.”

Qin Yuanyuan said, “XX Entertainment was one of the top entertainment companies in the field. Nobody dares to offend their upper management, albeit just a lowly one.”

A few seconds later, Jiang Xiaoqing figured out what Gu Nian meant by that and lunged at her again. “Oooooh, you shall not take advantage of me! I am even older than you. You are the middle one among us. You should be addressing me as big sister!”

Rocked back and forth under Jiang Xiaoqing’s evil grip a few times, Gu Nian’s smile suddenly froze on her face. “Oh!”

Jiang Xiaoqing stopped immediately, “What’s the matter?”

“I’ve forgotten!”

Gu Nian lifted up her phone and she was already half way out the door when she spoke again. “I forgot to mention to Luo Xiu that his brother had called him!!”

Before Jiang Xiaoqing and Qin Yuanyuan could say anything, their room door slammed shut with a loud “BANG”.

Jiang Xiaoqing turned around with a blank look on her. “Do you think she still remembers that we will be taking off from here and head back to City K in less than an hour?”

Qin Yuanyuan smiled bitterly, “Perhaps forgetfulness is part of the aftermath of being drunk.”

Jiang Xiaoqing, “Should I go and get her?”

Qin Yuanyuan, “Just text her. This is the last day she has with Luo Xiu. From Gu Nian’s perspective, this is like……”

The two exchanged a look.

Jiang Xiaoqing said painfully, “The parting between a mother and her son.”

After Luo Xiu had saw Gu Nian off after breakfast, he returned to his empty room alone.

It was still 2 hours before the car that the company had arranged for him would arrive. Luo Xiu went over to the closet and pulled out her medicine box. Twisting open the white pill bottom, he poured two pills out onto his palm.

Lowering her head, Luo Xiu casually put them in his mouth.

When he screwed the cap of the bottom back on, he turned and saw the shiny full-length mirror across from him. The wooden sliding door reflected in the mirror was half opened.

As though it was an illusion, he seemed to see the drunk little girl in her bare feet holding onto the door and looking at hi with her black eyes.

[Are you…... hiding there and eating candies by yourself?]
