The layout was more or less the same as Shu Yan’s and its geographical location was impeccable. The only problem was that its pricing was a little over what Shu Yan had expected. 

“Is the landlord in the country currently?” If they were not, that’d make it trickier. 

“The remodeling company is listed under City Nan. Lights and furniture, I got through a friend. Too bad I have already finished purchasing everything; otherwise I’d ask my friend to put you up a set as well.”

Time was getting late and the two chatted for a little before Shu Yan left with her two kids. Where she lived was a bit of distance from the little district where Lin Hui lived.

The master behind Shu Yan heard her, walked over, and touched the material. “This might not be warm enough for the purpose of autumn clothes and pants. I know of a thicker material.”

Shu Yan disagreed. Those who wanted to look pretty wouldn’t care that it wasn’t warm enough. “This will do. Let’s get some and see how they turn out. If it works out, we’ll create the pattern and make an entire batch of them.”

Business on Saturday was better than normal but not by much. A lot of customers tried clothing but few bought anything. 

Zhang Huaxiu said it was cozy, but Shu Yan didn’t think so. If each customer tried 2 – 3 sets, that’s 20 – 30 sets with 10 customers. They’d need to get new ones for them to try on plus put them back afterward. Back and forth, back and forth. It was both tedious and tiring.
