The two chitchatted on their way and had arrived at City Han before they realized. Shu Yan had always thought of Feng Zeyu as someone quiet and didn’t like to talk but he was actually quite a conversationist.

“I will take of now then,” said Shu Yan as she waved at him. She closed the car door and was about to walk away when she saw Feng Zeyu getting out of the car.

“Where are you going now?”

“I am going to go take a nap at a motel and come back here after 3 AM.” The weather was still cold outside, especially at night. Shu Yan wasn’t going to sit and wait outside like a fool.

When Shu Yan was told by the driver that Feng Zeyu, too, would be heading to City Han and splitting the ride with her, she didn’t think much and just agreed to it.

She had gotten on his rides a few times so she had no reason not to consent now that Feng Zeyu was in need.

It was only when she pulled opened the back door in a familiar manner and stepped inside the cabin did she notice that Feng Zeyu was there as well. He had always taken the passenger seat in the past so Shu Yan assumed he would do so today as well. Turned out he was in the back seat. Now that she was already half way getting into the car, she wasn’t sure whether she should go all the way in or back out.

“Business is doing well,” said Shu Yan with a chuckle.

“Perfect timing. We have a meeting in a little while. It’s about the new franchisees and new advertisement.”
