Shu Yan headed over to Wu Xiuyue’s place after she had gone home and taken a shower. Wu Xiuyue knew that her sister-in-law had mentioned it to Shu Yan when she saw her.

“Xiuxiu mentioned that you went merchandizing yesterday so probably didn’t get much sleep. There is no rush here. Why don’t get you some rest first and help me out when you have some free time?” She was anxious, of course, and wished that Shu Yan could help her right away. But she also couldn’t be that selfish.

“That’s alright. I got a few hours sleep last night. I won’t be able to sleep tonight if I take a long nap. I can go with you to take a look at your place now,” said Shu Yan with a slight smile.

It was almost 2 in the afternoon by the time they got back to City Nan. Zhang Huaxiu hurried out to help with the unloaded when she saw the car stopped in front of the shop. She couldn't help but do a double take when she saw Feng Zeyu at the driver’s seat.

She didn’t know that her boss lady went with Feng Zeyu on this trip, and he was the driver at that. That meant the two of them went to City Han together the night before. She knew they were friends before but this obviously passed the friendship line. Even the slow Zhang Huaxiu had picked up on the clues.

Mother Duoduo praised Feng Zeyu the entire time, to the point that even the person himself was starting to feel embarrassed.

“Sister-in-law, let’s eat soon so can head out. We have quite a bit to take care of back in City Nan.” He really wasn’t as good as Mother Duoduo was saying. He merely did what a man should.

“Alright.” He was already protective of her. It would seem like he was quite fond of her already. Mother Duoduo stopped praising about Feng Zeyu and started praising Shu Yan instead. “Look at you. How are you so skinny after having two children? Your skin is good too, fair and tender. How are you able to open up your own shop and make it profitable while having two children with you?”

Shu Yan gave it some thought and she was quite traumatized at the hospital lats time so she shook her head. “No, I’ll pass.”

In the end, when Mother Duoduo found out that Shu Yan was in the car, she lectured Feng Zeyu and long and hard and finally came and dragged Shu Yan inside.

“I can’t believe Yu did what he did. You are already here and he didn’t even bring you inside. He wasn’t even going to tell me had I not noticed something wasn’t right,” said Mother DuoDuo as she glared at Feng Zeyu.

“It wasn’t his fault. I asked him not to say anything. I didn’t want to trouble you,” Shu Yan explained for him quickly.
