Feng Zeyu didn’t think much of the Zhou Xiao Mei incident so, naturally, he did not bring that up to Shu Yan.

Shu Yan had been busy lately as well -- making samples of the outfits, filming the advertisements, the direct-sale store, and Hu Ruixue wanted to enter some of their designs into overseas competitions. The scales of the competitions did not matter. It would be publicity regardless.

That was a great idea. As much as they didn’t want to admit to it, but the overall trend was that everything from overseas were better. Once they had entered into some overseas competition and received some important-sounding awards, they would flare much better domestically.

The outcome of proceeding down multiple paths was that both Shu Yan and Hu Ruixue were stretched very thin.

After a whole day of work, Shu Yan rubbed her neck on her way downstairs and Feng Zeyu was already waiting for her by his car.

“Tired?”

“Our company is planning on expanding into women’s clothing. There were a bunch of stuff to take care of today. I have been in meetings all day.” After saying that, Shu Yan asked him, “How was your day?”

“Not too bad. I had a few comrades helping me out.” The two chatted all the way home.

“I’ll head home first them. You go home too.” Shu Yan waved at him before she turned to leave.

Feng Zeyu wouldn’t normally drove his car back to the village. He found a place to park it, got out of the car, and walked back.

“Ah, Xiao Xia is here. Have a seat, please. Boss Shu had just called and let me know that you are a rare talent. It was partly my overlook that you had remained undiscovered for so long. In addition to making you a permanent worker today, Boss Shu also made an exception and making you a team lead,” said the head of Human Resource. Anyone with half a brain would be able to see that Shu Yan had an eye for Xia Ruo now and she would likely be going up and up from this point forward. Even if they weren’t going to be friends, they should at least have an amicable relationship.

“Team lead?” Xia Ruo was a little dazed. There was a total of three team leads in Designs. If she was going to be one, then……

“Take a look at these two sets of design drafts.” Shu Yan handed the two sets of design drafts over to Allen and had him take his time at looking at them.

“Wonderful. These two sets are wonderful. May I ask which designer they came from? If we can secure them, we only need to make very little modifications before we start working on samples.” Allen raved about the two sets of designs.

“I am glad you think they are nice. Look at the name on the bottom. Do you recognize them?” asked Hu Ruixue nonchalantly.

“Xia Ruo?” Allen frowned a little. “No, I have never heard this name before.”
