Chapter 105 -  “XingXing’s daddy likes XingXing a lot too. He will take XingXing to play game, buy him toys, teach him how to play Rubik’s cube, and draw for XingXing.” (1)

The kind of lamb that Cheng Huan used were the free-ranged ones from the grassland. This kind of lamb was fresh and tender without the gamey taste that normally came with lamb. Nothing else was wrong with them with the exception of it being very expensive.

Zhou HengYuan killed off most of the lamb spine hot pot but that still wasn’t enough for him. He placed the order for a second one.

After he placed his order, he said to Jiang MingYuan, “Your little lover is pretty good.”

Jiang MingYuan narrowed his eyes and said, “Stop with the nonsense. She’s not my little lover.”

He picked up a piece of mushroom that he couldn’t name, put it inside of his bowl, and said nonchalantly, “Use her name. Her name is Cheng Huan.”

“Alright, alright, alright. I won’t say that again.” Zhou HengYuan might be goofy, but he knew when to stop. He opened up a bottle of beer, cheered with Jiang MingYuan, and said, “Drink up.”

Other than during work functions, Jiang MingYuan didn’t touch alcohol much. While Zhou HengYuan had beer in his glass, Jiang MingYuan had water in his.

The two brothers cheered and chitchatted before Zhou HengYuan’s second pot was served.

A doll-like boy that looked a lot like Jiang MingYuan came with the pot.

The heater was on and it was quite warm inside of the restaurant. XingXing took off his down jacket and only had on a white sweater.

He had always been cute and, now that he had fatten up a bit after spending the last few months with Cheng Huan, he looked even cuter.

XingXing acted very familiar around Jiang MingYuan. He sat down next to him, pointed at the meat in the pot and asked to have some.

The pot was just brought over and the soup was still cold inside of it. Jiang MingYuan had him waited for a little while. Once the soup was boiling, he picked up a piece of lamb, blew on it to cool it down before he placed it inside of XingXing’s mouth.

XingXing opened his mouth wide and ate the piece. He then asked for more. Jiang MingYuan fed him again, showing no signs of being impatient.

The two of them looked very happy with one feeding the other. When Zhou HengYuan saw that, his mouth dropped open.

He had never seen Jiang MingYuan that patient before. He wasn’t possessed, was he?

XingXing wasn’t all that hungry before and said he was full after a few chopsticks full of food. Jiang MingYuan put the chopsticks down and wiped XingXing’s mouth clean with a piece of napkin. His motion was skillful and didn’t look like this was his first time doing so.

XingXing finally noticed there was another uncle sitting across from him after he was done eating. He blinked, gave Zhou HengYuan a very sweet smile, showing him his two little dimples and said, “Hi, Uncle.”

“Aye, hi to you too.” This little kiddo looked too much like Jiang MingYuan and he felt very close to him right away. This was the first time Zhou HengYuan met XingXing and felt that he needed to give him some sort of a gift. He fished around on himself and couldn’t find anything that could be used as a gift. Finally, he pulled out a card from his wallet and said to XingXing, “Here. This is a gift from Uncle.”

XingXing looked at the card, then turned and looked at Jiang MingYuan. He finally accepted it after he saw Jiang MingYuan nodded at him. “Thank you, Uncle.”

He had no idea what the card was and assumed it was just a regular card. He toyed with it in his hands and Jiang MingYuan just watched him played with it. He didn’t stop XingXing from playing with it but told him to not put it inside of his mouth.

“Okay,” said XingXing as he sat on the couch, his two little feet kicking back and forth as he played by himself.

Zhou HengYuan, on the other side, was so focused on looking at XingXing that he had forgotten to eat. He looked for a while, then turned and whispered to Jiang MingYuan, “You haven’t told him yet?”

Jiang MingYuan knew what he was asking and shook his head. “No.”

“What are you waiting for?”
