Now that her identity had already been exposed, there were no more reasons to hide anything from him. She thought about it some and started telling him about herself starting from her childhood.

Cheng Huan rushed back and passed a grain and oil shop on her way back. Recalling that it was Lantern Festival the next day, she bought some rice flour for tuanyuantomorrow.

The chef had already finished preparing dinner by the time she got home. The chef’s specialty was Shangdong dishes. Even abalone or sea cucumber were just normal items as far as they were concerned, let alone regular everyday dishes. Cheng Huan felt ashamed in comparison.

Dinner was delicious as usual. After dinner, Jiang MingYuan started playing with the child. He bathed him afterward and, after being bathed, the little kiddo laid down in bed and immediately started to chase his daddy away. “I want Mommy to read me story.”

Jiang MingYuan, who was being resented, rubbed his nose. He looked over at Cheng Huan, who was trying not to laugh out loud, and walked out, feeling slightly embarrassed.

With the storybook in hand, Cheng Huan walked over to start reading it to XingXing. With her training in the past 6-months, she was already very good at it. XingXing would usually be asleep after ten minutes or so.

This time was no different. She could feel that the little kiddo’s breathing became more regular. Cheng Huan put down the storybook, straightened out the blanket for XingXing, and walked out of the room gently.

She closed the door behind her carefully and bumped straight into Jiang MingYuan’s chest after she turned around.

“I am waiting for you.” Jiang MingYuan picked her up, walked inside the master bedroom, closed the door with his foot, and carried her toward the bathroom. “It’s getting late. Time to shower and get ready for bed.”

Cheng Huan, suspended in midair, couldn’t do much. She punched Jiang MingYuan on his chest then lifted her head up and bit him on his neck.

She did that as a form of complaint but the bite turned into something else. The clocked moved forward two spots by the time two came out of the bathroom.

It was very limiting in the bathroom and Cheng Huan only felt sore all over her body. Collapsing onto the chair, she allowed Jiang MingYuan to blow dry her hair.
