In the middle of the night, the little boy opened up the door to the living room and snuck out quietly. He had just walked into the living room when he noticed a tall and dark silhouette man in front of him, sneaking out the exact same way as him.

The little boy was taken aback a little. It was so late at night already. Why would he be sneaking out? What could this possibly be about?

“Alright. Alright. I will be there in a jiffy.”

The man was rushing downstairs while talking on the phone when the little boy came out.

“Don’t you worry. I promise I will be there within the next 15 minutes. Just have the stuff ready.”

An expression appeared on the little boy’s chubby face that should not have been there. HIs contempt was obvious even from his baby fat.

And his girlfriend told him that she liked family man like that.

And this was the model of a family man? Luckily, he had already had him fired. He would for sure bring about misfortunes had he stayed.

The soul inside of the little boy might have multiple girlfriends, but he wanted to be someone that all of them could count on.

Besides, all of his girlfriends knew each other and would go shopping together. He had been very open and honest with all of them.

After the contempt went away, he didn’t take any actions. This couple was not related to him.

The little boy only wanted to get in touch with his Second Uncle and the butler and find a way to return to his normal life.

The man left quickly. By the time the little boy went downstairs on his little legs, the man was already long gone.

There were only street lamps and tall woods staring at each other in this little distract at 1 AM. A few dogs could be heard barking from a distance. There were two paths in front of him.

This little boy was Boss Kang. He had on fuzzy kid’s slippers and Little Piggy George sleepwear. He walked down one of the two paths from his memory.

All he needed to do was to walk out of this little district and take a car over to his mansion. Once he got ahold of his butler, he would take care of the rest.

The cars around him appeared tall and huge now that he had shrunk in size. They lurked on both sides of the streets in the little distract like sleeping monsters built out of metal.

Boss Kang gulped and continued to work forward. Suddenly, rustling noises came from the bushes on both sides.

Boss Kang took a step back and a black cat leaped out.

Seeing that it was just a cat, he let out a sigh of relief.

He had tried to memorize the streets in the day time. All he needed to do was to walk pass a junction and he would reach the entrance to this district.

There were boxes of trash on the junction and a few stray dogs digging into the trash.

All of the stray dogs were of the local variety. From the perspective of a four-year-old, however, they were all gigantic.

Boss Kang was not a 4-year-old child and was not afraid of dogs. Nevertheless, he knew that now was not the time to be tough. He shuffled over to the edge of the sideway and try to shuffle forward along the edge.

All of a sudden, one of the stray dogs looked up and barked.

Boss Kang knew that that was bad. He turned and started to run but the stray dogs were already chasing after him.

Boss Kang opened up his mouth wide and wanted to call out for help but he was only able to mutter some noises.

All of a sudden, the only thing that he could think of was scenes after scenes of himself being torn to pieces by these dogs. He was overcome by fear.

The next second, with a loud noise, he had slammed into something.

 Yue Qin happened to go over to a friend’s place to pick up the car key and something small in size had bumped into him on his way back. The other party started to fall backward from inertia and he reflexively caught the other party.

Yue Qin looked down and it was… his own son?

Yue Qin was both startled and frightened. He quickly scooped up his son who had been wandering around outdoor.

The dogs had reached them already and, one by one, stopped in their tracks.

Yue Qin frowned and shouted and all of the dogs dispersed.

Boss Kang was dumbfounded. He was carried by the big man and the man was rubbing him on his head with his coarse palm –

“It’s fine. It’s fine. Daddy’s here. There’s nothing to be afraid of.”

Boss Kang was unhappy about how things had turned out but he wasn’t a real fool and knew it was best for him to not act out of character at this point. He pretended to be a fool and accepted the fatherly love.

“Son, how did you get out?”

Naturally, his question went unanswered. That didn’t bother the man. He went on all on his own –

“The bad doggies scared you huh?”

“Don’t be afraid. Daddy’s here. Daddy will protect you.

“Look, all the bad doggies are afraid of daddy.

“Daddy need to go pick up his customer now. If you are sleepy, you can sleep in the car, okay?”
