Gu Xi only understood half of what they said. Regardless, when she heard “Oceanic Transportation Safety System”, her eyes lit up.
“Is that the safety system for monitoring transportation over international oceanic areas?” asked Gu Xi.

“How long will that take?” asked Gu Xi.

He really didn’t want the girl to waste too much of her time on things like this.
“Within 6 months,” he said.
Gu Xi nodded when she heard that and grumbled in a low voice. “That’s not too bad then……”

Finally, the “no” that was at the tip of his tongue turned into “Are you done with your homework?”
“Yes!” Pausing, Gu Xi added, “I’ve finished it while you were at the parent-teacher conference.”
Gu Shao, “……”
“Boss, then……” Xu Fei chimed in at the most opportune moment. He looked at Gu Xi, then from Gu Xi to Gu Shao.
Gu Shao finally let out a sigh and said, “Okay, let’s go.”
