Was this woman also a character from the novel?

Looking at the person in front of her, Gu Xi couldn't help but started speculating.

The very next second, however, Gu Xi shook her head and put away the crazy thoughts in her head.

“That’s not possible……” grumbled Gu Xi softly. Then, as though she was trying to convince herself, she said to herself, “Right. They only look somewhat alike. It couldn’t be that much of a coincidence.”
