The screen went black before they could make out exactly what he had said.

Lu Jue lowered his head and looked at Ning Zhi, who was sound asleep with her head against his abdomen. His eyes dimmed gradually. “Zhizhi, let’s get you in bed. It’s cold on the floor.”

Ning Zhi’s eyes were shut tightly. She did not respond.

Lu Jue bent over and picked her up. He touched her foot. Realizing that it was not cold, he let go of it.

Ning Zhi had woken up when he was placed onto the bed. Opening her eyes, she saw Lu Jue with a bunch of little suns over his head.

“You are awake?”

Lu Jue was unbuttoned his shirt with one hand. When the red shirt fell onto the floor, he leaned into Ning Zhi’s ear and his eyes were full of smile. He said slowly, “Perfect timing.”

Before Ning Zhi could react, he had already planted his lips on hers and swallowed up whatever she may have wanted to say.

All Ning Zhi could see was desire written all over Lu Jue’s clean face.

Her alabaster feet tensed up into an arch. She felt so uncomfortable that she bit Lu Jue on his shoulder. She heard his low voice rang next to her ear. “Zhizhi, Zhizhi……”

The tip of her ear was touched by his warm and moist breath.

Ning Zhi felt that she was living in a different dimension when she was inside the castle.

Lu Jue would go on walks with her amidst the sea of roses; he would take her out to sea on his yacht; or go sunbathing at the beach.
