“Where are you going, Young Master Lu Jue?” The male nurse had just put down the glass when he turned and saw Lu Jue opening up the door, ready to walk outside.
He quickly followed behind Lu Jue.
When Lu Jue walked downstairs, even Father and Mother Lu, the butler, and all the servants were shocked.
“Xiao Jue, where…… where are you going?” Mother Lu quickly followed her son.
Lu Jue did not respond to her. He just followed behind Ning Zhi.

Lu Jue looked up and looked at her quickly before looking away. He then looked back at her again. The light in his eyes dimmed a little, as though he was asking her why would she not be around anymore.
Meeting Lu Jue’s eyes, Ning Zhi had no heart to tell him that she had to leave soon.
Lu Jue’s lips were pinched shut tightly. He looked quietly at Ning Zhi.
“I will be leaving tonight.”
What Ning Zhi did not say out loud was that every time that she had left in the past, she had disappeared abruptly and never said goodbye to him properly. That was because she knew that she would run into Lu Jue again.
This time was not the same as any of those other times. There was no Ning Zhi in this universe. Lu Jue would likely never see her again after she had disappeared.
Lu Jue understood what leaving meant.
He held onto Ning Zhi’s hand tightly, looking nervous and anxious. “Zhizhi no go.”
Ning Zhi’s voice was low but audible to Lu Jue. “I’m sorry.”
“No go, no go, no go.” Lu Jue’s pitch-black eyes were filled with disappointment. He pleaded with Ning Zhi to stay.
Ning Zhi dared not look into his eyes.
Lu Jue pinched his mouth shut tightly. His face, still with the wounds turned almost pale. Like a little beast that had been upset, he let go to Ning Zhi’s hand and ran off.
“Lu Jue!” Ning Zhi’s fingers barely brushed over Lu Jue’s clothes but she wasn’t able to grab him.
“Where are you going, Xiao Jue?”
Seeing that her son started sprinting all of a sudden, Mother Lu looked nervous and quickly called out, “Hurry up and stop him!”
The male nurse ran after Lu Jue right away.
Ning Zhi, too, was worried and also chased after Lu Jue.
Lu Jue ran up to an artificial mountain, grabbed one of the rock that was lying around it, and hit his own arm with it.
The rock was sharp and was covered in sand. Just one strike and Lu Jue’s arm started to bleed.
“Young Master Lu Jue.” The male nurse ran over to him quickly.
Without friction from the air, Ning Zhi reached Lu Jue before the nurse. As she ran, she spent 10 little suns in exchange for materializing time.
She grabbed Lu Jue’s hand that was holding the rock and stopped him from hitting himself with it again.
“Lu Jue, you have promised me that you would not hurt yourself anymore.”
