Then, he shook his head and, as though feeling regretful, said, “No, not really.”

The little assistant, “… …”

The little assistant sighed, feeling both distressed dispirited and helpless. “You are probably the only person in the entertainment circle with no wants other than joining the Taoist temple.”

Luo Xiu smiled, not bothered by his comment.

The little assistant set up the napkin for breakfast and, suddenly something occurred to him. He turned and asked, “Speaking of, Brother Luo, your birthday this year is coming up. It’s next Tuesday, right?”

Luo Xiu almost had no reaction at all. “I forgot.”

The little assistant didn’t know what to say. “So you are not going to celebrate it this year either?”

After two days of free time, Luo Xiu was needed again on Sunday afternoon. In order to avoid being late, his little assistant brought him over to the studio before noon.

There, they ran right into Gu Nian who was “waiting to pounce”.

The girl ran up from under a tree. Her cheeks flushed in this hot afternoon.

Luo Xiu, who had just gotten out of the car, was surprised. “What are you.. doing here?”

“I am here to return the thermos to you. You are finally coming in again. I figured you would come early so I decided to wait here.”

The ground was charred and the noise of the cicadas were annoying.
