Bait and Switch
Other than the previous challenges mentioned in picking a decent webnovel (even just to read), there’s the bait and switch that I had just experienced!
Let me just ask you this:
If the title of the book is “Transmigrated to Phoenix Man in the 80’s”, am I asking for too much to expect the below, at the very minimum:
Transmigration was involved in the story
MC ended up in the 80s
MC was male, as suggested by the title
MC was a Phoenix man, also as suggested by the title
But, nooooooo, twenty chapters later, there was NO mentioning of MC being a phoenix man!
Are there zombies in Zombieland? Are there time traveling in Back to the Future? Are there dinosaurs in Jurassic Park?
In fact, author asked “Should I rename the book to ‘Valedictorian in the 80s’"?”
??!!!!
Had that been the title it started out with, I would NEVER even have clicked into it!
Give me back the time I’ve spent reading the 20 chapters. :’(
