Wu Wu Wu and Pei Pei Pei? [Another poll]
I am curious as to how to translate these couple “terms”, so want to see if it’s meaning to most of my readers. I will reveal their meanings below the survey. No cheating! =)
Answers revealed:
1. Wu wu wu / Woo woo woo - crying sound. “Wu wu wu” is to crying like “Ha ha ha” is to laughing.
2. “Pei pei pei” is a little harder to explain. It’s a sound like that people make, like “tsk”. It was used someone realized that they have misspoke, usually something negative. ie. “Lah lah lah unless he gets into an accident. Pei pei pei… [followed by revised version of what they want to say]”
Sort of like “wait, wait, wait, let me correct myself”.
