She felt the weight of a mountain weighing on her and all sorts of speculations jumbled up in her head. Cheng Huan did not say another word on their way back home. After she gone home and back to her comfort zone, she finally felt a bit more relaxed. She decided to put aside all kinds of wild guesses and think everything through from the very beginning. 

First of all, how did the male lead find out that XingXing was his son?

Judging from the little kiddo’s behavior, this was not the first day the two had met. This she could just ask him directly. 

“During my vacation,” replied XingXing with no hesitation after his mother asked him. He had a very long-lasting impression on this uncle. “He’s the clever uncle who knows how to play Rubik’s cube!”

That jotted Cheng Huan’s memory. XingXing did mention that an uncle was playing with him before. Worried that it was a kidnapper, Cheng Huan had him sat closer to her and the man had never showed up again. 

That was the first day of National holidays and now its already end of October. That meant the male lead had found out about this at least two weeks ago, if not longer. 

Cheng Huan gritted her teeth. She had mad that she hadn’t noticed it earlier. But what was going on with this male lead? Why was he still hiding in the dark if he had already found out? Did he not want to recognize XingXing as his son?

Even though her plan was to stay as far away from the male and female leads as possible, Cheng Huan was still very unhappy about the way that the male lead was approaching this. She twisted her hands together and asked XingXing another question: “What else did the uncle say to you?”

“Huh?” XingXing didn’t really understand what she was trying to get at

“Did he ask you anything about your mommy and daddy?”

XingXing looked down and thought for a long while. When he looked up, he still had a blank look on him. 

He was still young and could only recall so much. He had forgotten most things that took place over half a month ago. There was no way he could recall that the clever uncle had asked him whether he or his father was mightier. 

Cheng Huan wasn’t too disappointed that XingXing couldn’t remember much details. She asked him a few other questions and let him go off to play when he became inpatient. 

When XingXing went off to play on his own, Cheng Huan pulled out pen and paper to sort out the time line. 

First of all, the male lead found out about XingXing’s identity on or before October 1st and never showed up for unknown reasons. A few days later she received the call from the property management company telling her that they had found a suitable location.
