Xudong and the others might have gone a little too far in trying to squeeze out her son back then. When her son returned, he had gotten everything taken care of. Gu MingLi felt bad having to watch Xudong, who had spent most of his life being busy, having nothing to do in recent years and had to worry about being revenged on on top of that. She was not happy when he was not happy.

Now that her son had him manage a company, he would not only be able to get out of this environment and not have to worry but it would also serve as a new starting point for him. It would be the best of both worlds.
