“That’s right.” Jiang MingYuan handed over a gift box. “And here is your reward.”

“Thank you, Daddy!” XingXing accepted the gift and heard noises by the front door. He smiled and ran over to Cheng Huan when he saw her, still with the box in his hand. “Mommy, I can do 70 – 22 now. This is the reward from Daddy.”

“XingXing is so smart,” praised Cheng Huan as she put down her bags and planted a kiss on him.

Being praised, the little kiddo gave a goofy smile. With the box in his arms, he looked at the bags on the floor. “Did Mommy buy me clothes?”

He could see from the opening of the bags that the colors of the clothes were not very bright and they were not Mommy’s usual style, so he assumed they were for him. He put down his box, bent over, and pulled an item out from a bag.

The one that he pulled was happened to be the very first cashmere sweater that Cheng Huan had picked out. The little kiddo unfolded it and placed it in front of himself. Then the smile on him disappeared. He flipped the sweater over back and forth then, looked up as though he had been treated unfairly, and said, “Mommy, this is too big for me.”

“Ahem.” Cheng Huan took it from him with a little bit of guilty conscience and said to her son. “This is not for you. I bought it for Daddy.”

“Oh, no wonder.” The little boy patted himself on chest. Squatting back down, he asked, “Then which one of these are for me, Mommy?”

Cheng Huan, “……”

“All of them are for Daddy.”

“Huh?” XingXing found that hard to believe. “None of them are mine?”

“Em…” Cheng Huan glanced over at Jiang MingYuan who wasn’t too far away from them before she lowered her head and reasoned with XingXing. “Didn’t Mommy buy you some just two days ago?”

“But you didn’t buy me any today.”

“But I didn’t buy Daddy any two days ago either.”

“Oh, okay.” The little kiddo thought about it with a solemn look and realized that what she had said was correct. As such, he stopped feeling unhappy about it, picked his reward from Daddy back up, and went away to unwrap it.

Jiang MingYuan finally walked over after XingXing had walked away. He bent over and picked up the bags from the floor. Smiling, he asked, “Is that why you were gone for so long?”

“Uh… mmhmm.” Cheng Huan looked away and nodded. She then had him go and tried them on and see how they fit on him.

Naturally, Jiang MingYuan didn’t object to that and walked inside the bedroom with the clothes in his hands. The room door re-opened after a few minutes.

There were only so many colors for male outfits so the varieties could only be in the details.

The charcoal grey sweater was matched with a black, army-style jacket with two columns of buttons. The jacket was very well tailored and immediately gave him a restrained feel just having it on. On the bottom was a pair of dark grey, fitting skinny jeans with a pair of short boots. They made the man looked even taller than he already was.

The man looked some five to six years younger after he had changed out of his suit and also very sexy. He walked slower than normal, presumably because he wasn’t used to dressing like that. He looked intensely at Cheng Huan since the moment that he had walked out and, when he saw the appreciation in her eyes, he was finally able to relax. He hastened his pace and walked over to her. Stopping about a meter from her, he asked with a tenderness in his eyes and on his lips, “What do you think?”

“Looks good,” said Cheng Huan with a look of admiration. She then walked over to straighten out the collar for him. “You look better in this than in your suits.”

Her hand on his collar was grabbed and the heat from his hand started to warm up her slightly-chilly fingertips.

With her hand in his, he brought hers over and gave her a peck. “I can dress like this going forward if you like.”

“You mean you are going to wear this set for an entire month?” Cheng Huan teased.

“Why not?” said the man with a serious look. He only switched to a different look after he saw the shock on her. His lips raising slightly and crow’s feet could be seen at the corner of his eyes as he smiled and said, “I’m just kidding.”
