There were a few paper bags from when she last went shopping, so Cheng Huan pulled one out and handed it over to him.

By now the man had already folded his dirty laundry. They looked very neat. He put them inside of the bag one by one and, by the last piece, Cheng Huan finally realized what he meant by it was one size too small.

Hearing the footsteps getting closer, then turned around and left, that’s when Jiang MingYuan realized that he had been holding his breath the entire time. He took a deep breath and was somewhat nervous. Looking at his wet clothes laying on one side, he contemplated putting them back on and walking out of the bathroom. 

“That will be fine.” Jiang MingYuan declined her offer. “It’s not that far away. I’ll just wash up when I get home.”

There was only a woman and a child in this house. Common sense would dictate that there wouldn’t be men’s clothes here. Having said that, Jiang MingYuan handed XingXing over to Cheng Huan and was about to take off.

This was the first time Jiang MingYuan had donned kitchen gloves; it was a brand-new experience to him. Taros were easier to clean than lettuce so it didn’t take him long to finish. 

The taros, even after they were scrubbed clean were still dark in color and didn’t look very pretty. Jiang MingYuan handed them over to Cheng Huan and asked how they would be prepared.
