Boss Kang was carried on the man’s back and continued to pretend to be a fool. He was speechless. Was this man going to bring his child with him when he went to cheat on his wife?

“You are almost there. Just wait for me at the cross street.”

Boss Kang, sitting in the child seat in the back, watched on coldly.

Shortly, the car pulled over at the cross street and a young girl, dragging a suitcase behind her, waved.

In the middle of the night, the little boy opened up the door to the living room and snuck out quietly. He had just walked into the living room when he noticed a tall and dark silhouette man in front of him, sneaking out the exact same way as him.

The little boy was taken aback a little. It was so late at night already. Why would he be sneaking out? What could this possibly be about?

“Alright. Alright. I will be there in a jiffy.”

The man was rushing downstairs while talking on the phone when the little boy came out.

“Don’t you worry. I promise I will be there within the next 15 minutes. Just have the stuff ready.”

An expression appeared on the little boy’s chubby face that should not have been there. HIs contempt was obvious even from his baby fat.

It was barely daylight. There were footsteps from the outside and a man’s voice could be heard in bits and pieces—

“Get some more sleep. There’s something I need to go take care of at the office. It won’t be long.”

Then the sound of a door being opened. The footsteps started heading toward the kid’s room.

The little boy, who had his ear stuck to the door, quickly ran back to his bed, pulled the blanket over himself, and closed his eyes.

The door was opened.

The man walked inside and the little boy’s body stiffened. He only felt like a big monster had walked inside and it made breathing difficult for him.
