After she had locked eyes with XingXing for a little while, she pursed her lips, looked away, and decided to draw his attention away from herself. “That you will have to ask Daddy.”

As such, just a few minutes after he had spoken to Cheng Huan, Jiang MingYuan received a call from his son.

Cheng Huan walked over dubiously. She thought it was delivery for something that she had ordered but, when she walked up, she saw a bunch of reddish-orange roses.

“Who gave this to you?” Cheng Huan picked up the bunch of flowers but did not see anything that resembled a card on the inside.

“An uncle.”

“What does the uncle look like?”

XingXing’s look was blank. He tried to recall but as the time he was in contact with the person was short, he really couldn’t recall his look. He thought about it long and hard but finally shook his head. “I don’t know.”

Cheng Huan wasn’t sure what to say. She would be lying if she said she wasn’t interested in Jiang MingYuan at all. But the thought of developing a relationship beyond friendship with someone was certainly no small challenge for someone who had been single her entire life.
