It was a 2-hour flight from City S to Jiang MingYuan’s home town. Leaving after lunch, the three of them got off the plane at 4 PM and it was already 5:30 PM when they finally arrived at his place by car.

Jiang MingYuan’s home town was a small city by a mountain. The town flourished through tourism and was a relatively affluent town.

After walking through a stone-paved market and a river, they had arrived at where they would be staying.

These houses were aged with white walls and grey brick roofs. The river ran in front of the front door and the water were so clear one could see the bottom of the river glistening under the sun.

He had only made out one word when the rest were swallowed. His hand, placed on the back of her head, made it impossible for her to avoid him. This kiss was much more ferocious than the one this afternoon. The man was very aggressive, as though he wanted to swallow her whole.

Her mouth was completely explored by the other person before she was let go of. The man’s breathing was a little heavy and his eyes particularly dark. He reached his hand out and wiped away the water mark on the lips in front of him. He pecked her again on her lips before he said goodbye to her again. “I’m heading back upstairs now.”

“Okay, go.” Cheng Huan was frazzled from his actions. She waved and, after a slight hesitation, still walked him to the elevator. The elevator’s door shut and block the man’s look.

Life hasn’t been too different from before and, after dinner, the family of three used the news as background noise while they discuss about their trip the next day.

XingXing only found out tonight that they would be going to visit Grandpa with Daddy the next day. He was very curious about his new family member and asked a lot of questions such as how big and how tall was Grandpa and what did he look like.

Jiang MingYuan was very interested in this topic as well so he had XingXing wait for him as he went upstairs to grab his father’s photo.

He let go fo Cheng Huan’s hand and switched to interlacing their fingers together. Hugging her from behind, he asked gently into her ear, “Keep on buying clothes for me in the future?’

“Give me some time to think about it.” Cheng Huan’s eyes stirred. She leaned backward slightly and her back met the chest of the man behind her. Through the fabric of their clothes, she seemed to be able to feel the warmth coming from the man.

“How much time do you need?” Jiang MingYuan acknowledged her then, he picked up a strand of her hair, sniffed it, and asked, “Is one minute long enough?”
